An Enchanted Place

For day 243 of 365 Days Wild, and day 2 of the Big Garden Birdwatch, I spent some time drawing and painting goldfinches. We have rather a lot of these lovely little birds currently visiting the garden.

The first picture is now complete, but here are a few shots of it during its creation.

The second picture is still a work in progress. There’s a lot more detail in it! I’ve been working on it again today, so hopefully it will be complete in time for my next post.
