On day 234 of 365 Days Wild I wandered down to the Nature Project to see what I could see.

It was nice to have a bit of blue sky after the grey skies that have dominated recently, though there were still lots of clouds and it continued to be very windy.

It doesn’t matter how down or negative I might be feeling before I leave the house, a walk down by the pond and around our local green spaces are always enough to lift my spirits.I s

Before I left the meadow I spotted some catkins in the hedge that I just had to spend a little time with. I think this might be Hazel, though I’ve never seen any hazelnuts around. This could be because Hazel trees requite a second tree to be growing somewhere nearby in order for cross-pollination to happen. Another Hazel might have to be planted in the meadow…
