The number of toadstools growing on the grass verges is steadily increasing now, as the wheel shifts away from Summer and further towards Autumn.
Here are some fungi pictures that I snapped as I walked around the village on day 87 of 365 Days Wild. Unfortunately, the light wasn’t great so they’re a little dull.

Everywhere is now taking on a very autumnal feel. Autumn has always been my favourite season, so I’m starting to feel quite excited.

This flight of swallows was swooping overhead as I walked along the lane. Most remained perched on the telegraph wires only briefly before diving out after flies, only to return a moment later. I just had to stop for a time to watch them, and snap a few pictures, too, of course.

Here are some other views from my walk around the lanes.

That’s all for today. See you again tomorrow!
I also love the autumn.
