Photography 101 Gallery 2

When I was looking through the photography 101 pictures for my favourites for the Weekend 4 gallery I realised I had quite a few photos that, for one reason or another, I’d not actually used in the posts . Sometimes their composition wasn’t quite right; other times I just had too many for the theme – at first I was trying to put a only single picture on each post. That didn’t last! On some occasions I just wanted to use new pictures rather than ones from my archives. Anyway, I thought I’d give you a second gallery of the ‘discarded’ pictures. There are also quite a few other’s that were considered but which I’ve written poems for. You’ll be seeing those soon…

I hope you like them.

    1. It is in that picture! I have a 2nd one where it has its head tilted and is looking straight at the camera. In that one it looks slightly evil. 🙂

    1. Thanks. I’ve a particular fondness for that pic. We had a photography competition in the village the other year and I couldn’t decide what to enter so my Dad entered that one and came 2nd!

  1. Such lovely pictures! I’m glad you are posting them now. The “moment” with the bird is wonderful, and the “swarm” is lovely, too. Nice solitude shots as well.

    1. Thanks. 🙂 I didn’t know that about American robins. I just had to Google it to see what they look like – very different!

  2. I’m glad you posted these, too. You have been practicing getting the bird shots, the owl in a dive, splashing bird. I like the red tractor pulling the boat. So logical.
