An Enchanted Place

I dream of a

world where sunbeams and

snowflakes coexist

but clouds

heavy with snow obscure

the light

and the sun’s

heady warmth chases snowmen

into ice melt

*

eternal rivals

with opposing views unable

to compromise

but still I dream

Day 253 of 365 Days Wild was another day of mixed snow showers and sunny spells. Sometimes the two even seemed to overlap! I briefly called into the meadow as snow flurried through sunbeams.

My walk took me on a loop around the village lanes.

Once I arrived home I also snapped few photographs over the field behind our house before I headed inside to the warmth of the fire.
