On day 124 of 365 Days Wild I didn’t really feel like leaving the house. It was dull and overcast and drizzly outside, and the fire had been lit in our living room, making it nice and cosy. Instead of a nature walk I indeed decided to get to work on my latest felt and embroidery picture. As it is toadstool season I thought I’d create a piece with my favourite toadstool, the Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria) as the focus. It still has a long way to go, but I made a good start on it. Hopefully this one won’t take as long to complete as my last!

Here is the photograph that it’s based on:

That’s all for today. Hopefully my next post will be on a nature walk. As it’s currently raining, I think it may well be a walk in the rain…
You’ve stuttered on your day count. Must be the dull and rainy day!

A great start on your latest embroidery. Fly Agaric is a nice, colourful choice.
