Tug-of-War
With feet apart, teeth bared and fists clenched, they battled yet again for supremacy. Chloe turned away, dialling a familiar number on her phone. She refused to be the prize in her parents’ tug-of-war any longer.

I can see her taking herself off to her grandparents until everything has been settled. Maybe her parents will even realise how their battling is affecting her! I’m glad you enjoyed it, Jessie. π

Great TLT! So many children get caught inbetween battling parents and it’s so sad for the children.

I meet quite a lot of children who are caught between battling parents. I always find it quite heartbreaking. I’m glad you enjoyed the story, PJ. π
