Day 218 of 365 Days Wild was a perfect day for heading out for a sunset walk along the local byways, bridleways and public footpaths.

Before I reached the lanes I stopped to photograph a patch of heather that was growing beside the old red telephone box. There aren’t many flowers around at the moment so I couldn’t resist photographing them.

I spent most the time I was out photographing the sky. When I left the house the light was golden where it was breaking through the clouds. It created some beautiful skyscapes even before the sunset colours began to appear.

I particularly loved the reflections of the sky that could be seen in the puddles along the lanes.

It wasn’t long before some lovely pinks began to colour the clouds.

That’s all for today. Have you been out for a sunset walk recently? Let me know in the comments below.
I love the reflections. That’s a lot of puddles!
