On day 205 of 365 Days Wild I ventured out in the morning for a wander around the lanes to the meadow and little woodland. It was far too beautiful to stay inside.

I made my way through the hole in the hedge into the meadow. The light was delightful as it streamed through the hedgerow and past the fence.

I then made my way into the little woodland, where I followed the path beneath the bare winter branches, and past holly, yew and ivy.

I spent some time with the tangle of dead wood near the holly trees. I love how some of the worn spikes of branches look almost like antlers, turning the dead wood into a host of leaping, prancing deer running through the woodland.

That’s all for today. Have you been out and about recently? Let me know in the comments below.
