Day 171 of 365 Days Wild was yet another day spent beneath a blanket of cloud, but the sun did make two very brief appearances – first at dawn, and again at dusk.
I photographed the dawn from my window, over the buildings and trees opposite. The sun was only visible for a short time, but it creates a gorgeous golden glow that I couldn’t resist photographing.

I was out on my daily walk when the sun finally reappeared. At first there was simply a glow on the western horizon that I spotted as I walked along the lanes.

It wasn’t long before I was watching the sun set over the fields.

The best of the colour actually occurred after the sun had passed below the horizon, by which time I had arrived back home and was watching the sky over the back fence and the field behind the house. It was a lovely sight.

That’s all for today. Have you watched the sun rise or set recently? I’d love to know.
Wow beautiful pics, no I haven’t watched it rise or set recently but now I feel like I have 👍❤️

Thank you, Kellie! It’s very easy to watch both sunrise and sunset at this time of year. I don’t have to get up overly early or be out particularly late. I’m also very fortunate that I don’t really have to go anywhere to get a good view! I’m very glad you liked the pics. 💚😊💚
