Water’s Edge

On day 311 of 365 Days Wild I spent some time connecting with nature down at the water ‘s edge. It was a day of sunny intervals and I was lucky enough to catch a brief spell of light while I was out. The sight of sunbeams cascading over the daffodils was enough to immediately lift spirits that had been dulled by the grey skies.

The afternoon sun shone beautifully on the Spring green that is now appearing on the trees along the bank.

The Marsh Marigolds (Caltha palustris) beside the pond were also looking lovely. These are also known as Kingcups, and their golden flowers are definitely a crowning glory of the new growth.

How have you been connecting with nature recently? Let me know in the comments below.
