An Enchanted Place

Day 285 of 365 Days Wild was the day before Mother’s Day here in the UK. With not being able to get out to shops this year I decided to put together a more personal gift for my Mum.

Her favourite bird is a wren and, as it was for Mother’s Day, I thought I’d draw her a picture of a mother seen with her chick, which I mounted and framed.

I also made her a card. My original idea was to use some of the felt cut outs from my craft box to create the image of a vase of flowers. That was not what I ended up creating. Instead they somehow morphed into an image of the Earth Mother.
