On day 173 of 365 Days Wild I arrived down at the pond shortly before sunset.
It had been yet another overcast day which hadn’t particularly inspired me to head out for a wander… until it neared its end. As seems to have happened rather a lot recently, the clouds started to break up just in time to showcase the beautiful November light as the sun sank towards the horizon.
Soon the sky began to gain a few interesting colours. These looked particularly lovely refelected on the water of the pond.
Facing eastwards, the sky over the meadow also looked lovely, with the clouds stained in pink and purple tones.
The sunset colours continued to develope after I left the meadow and made my way along the lane towards home, though they soon began to fade. By the time I actually reached home, the colour was all but gone, but it was such a gorgeous sight while it lasted.
