Six Word Story: Paranoia

This post is for the Sometimes Stellar Storyteller’s six word story challenge. This week’s prompt is: paranoia.

Skin itching; eyes peering; creatures lurking.

I’m not sure I’ll ever manage to come back on this post -that spider picture is making my skin itch. Yes, this is definitely a paranoia that I have. If I see a spider I can’t relax for the next several hours.

    1. It’s the number of legs they have that really bothers me. I have a phobia of things crawling on me (I couldn’t even hold my hamster as a child because of the feeling of its feet on my skin) and spiders are the worst because of the number of legs and the speed they can move at. Ugh, my skin’s crawling just thinking about it! Thanks for visiting. 🙂

    1. I’m trying to avoid seeing it this morning. I couldn’t stop itching all last night – my actual phobia is of things crawling on me and just the thought of it makes my skin crawl. It doesn’t help that I know there’s a spider hiding in the wood basket by the fire… Thanks for visiting. 🙂

    1. I’m glad you like it. 🙂 If I see any sort of creepy crawley I have a bout of paranoia that can last me hours. Or longer! Just thinking about them makes me itch.
