I didn't realise that the bench was in the middle of a fairy circle until I looked down and saw the toadstools beside my feet. Had I found a fairy trap for the unwary traveller, ready to whisk someone away to the Otherland? I was tempted to return at midnight, when the August moon was full - a time, or so I've heard, when it's easier to connect with the fairy kingdom. I've always dreamt of being swept away to a magical land...
