Lovely Haiku paired with a pretty familiar scene! The “sombre land” may be washed clean, but somehow my car’s still filthy.

My car is never clean! Living out in a village (with lanes around us that are more like farm tracks) I can clean it and it’ll be filthy again after I’ve driven into town. I’m glad you like the picture and haiku. 🙂

A beautiful Haiku to go with a beautiful photo of the English countryside – reminds me of walking to school and splashing in the puddles – much to the annoyance of my Mum! Lol!

Thank you. 🙂 Splashing in puddles was allowed on the way home from school but never on the way!

I think that’s what I would have been told too, but it never stopped me from trying! 🙂
