This post is in response to Cee’s Black and White Challenge. This week’s theme is, Cameras or Photos of Photographers.
I wasn’t sure for a while whether I was going to be joining in with this week’s challenge because, as I’ve mentioned before, I don’t generally take many pictures of people. The exception, of course, is my nephew. As I was hunting through my archives for pictures that might fit one of the other challenges I came across a few of him taking photographs. He’s quite a budding photographer, though he’s mainly interested in taking pictures of trains.
The final photo is a case of ‘find the photographer’. I didn’t even realise he was there until after I’d taken the picture!
I hope you all like them.
The last one is incredible, Louise. Especially since you didn’t know he was there. Would be fun to see what his photograph looked like that he was taking as well. These are so special and fun. They look wonderful in black and white too!

Thank you, Carrie! I’m really glad you like them. I wondered about his photo myself and was very tempted to call to ask whether he could find it! Thanks for visiting. 🙂

Yes, call 🙂 I think it would be quiet interesting to see it. You are most welcome.

I literally said wow. I loved how the first is a picture of “him” taking a picture. And the black and white theme made it even better. 👏

Thank you, Ameena. 🙂 He really enjoys his photography. Every time I visit he has to show me his latest batch of pictures. Usually of trains. Black and white photography has become a real favourite of mine over this last year. I’m glad you like them. 🙂

Really lovely shots, I’ve always liked images of photographers looking straight down the lens. They all look stunning 🙂

Great photos. In the last one he’s probably thinking, “huh, Auntie Louise is in the way of my shot again” 🙂

He´s interested taking pictures of trains, that´s new. And quite a creative one. By the way I love the black and white pictures, I can´t put my finger as to exactly why but I just like them more tan in colour, not to say I don´t like the colour but black and white is just more attracting to me. Great pic´s.

He’s been obsessed with trains since he was a toddler! He’s even posted videos of them on YouTube. I too love black and white – this is one of my favourite challenges. I find that removing the colour from a photo really shifts the attention to the content. Thanks for visiting. 🙂
