This post is for Cardinal Guzman’s monthly blogging event The Changing Seasons. He asks that you post a gallery of between 10 and 20 photos for each month, all taken in an area near to you. Over the course of the year we’ll get to see the landscape changing. If you would like to know more about the challenge then follow this link.
Here are the pictures that I took during March.
As you can probably tell from the pictures, March was a very brown month in my area of the world – which is on the Nottinghamshire-Lincolnshire border in England. The fields were all fleshly ploughed and the trees and hedges were still bare. But there were signs of spring in the daffodils and celandines.
Here are the links to the galleries from previous months.

Spring in England is something I would love to see. I absolutely love Daffodils, they are such happy flowers and sing of Springtime.

🙂 Beautiful use of light and paths in these images, Louise. The shapes of the trees are beautiful too. I enjoy this post of yours each month.

Thank you, Carrie. I enjoy doing them – though it takes me ages to decide which pictures to use. I’ve usually taken hundreds!

Thank you! There’s one village I drive through on my way home that has banks of them on the verges on either side of the road – they’re an impressive sight. 🙂

Great collection, and I especially like your first sunset and trees shot. Great idea to show the freshly plowed field as it will be interesting to see what gets planted there for the next series 🙂

Thank you! I’m glad you like them. 🙂 I’m looking forward to seeing what’s planted as well – I’m a little bored of photographing brown earth!
